Notes: A fantastic image by Katsuyuki Nishjima depicting the oldest 八ツ橋 Yatsuhashi store in Kyoto - the Honke Nishio Yatsuhashi. A Shigaraki tanuki figure stands mascot to the entrance - one of Nishijima’s rare reference to any semblance of human/animal/lifelike form in his work.
