Condition: Excellent given size & age. Fabulous intensity of colour remains. Crisp central embossing of seal forms with little/no fading or blemishes. Very minimal loss of clarity to margin - slight browning & surface creases (as with age). Small foxing spot to lower left. Notes:

A truly fabulous & striking piece. A rare example of Maki’s use of Yellow ink - particularly in this large format example. (A “Big Yellow”?). Truly magnificent and in excellent condition. An example of Maki’s finest compositions - sharp, crisp embossed seal forms central to the image contrasted against one single black seal form and swathe of flat, bold yellow ink.
