Designed and carved by Gijin Okuyama and seemingly printed by his father, his work offers a striking view of にの門 (Ninomon Gate) - the second gate of Himeji Castle - and the narrow passageway leading to the main keep. Featuring the iconic clay-fired 瓦 (“kawara”) roof tiles and fortified gate, the composition highlights the craftsmanship and historical importance of the Castle.
